Inspirational Quote of the Month
“A thousand words will not leave so deep an impression as one deed.”
– Henrik Ibsen
Consider what you can do in Alpha Iota this year. What strengths do you have that can be used "for the common good?"
We are pleased to receive the 2016-2018 Delta Kappa Gamma International Certification Seal for our website.
Share the web site address with others:
We are also on Facebook!
Notes from Joan:
We are still in need of someone to take over the Wep and Face Book pages.
We also need someone to step up to act as Vice-President or co Vice-President for next fall.
We also need a Membership Chair
Please bring items for the Silent Auction fundraiser and items for ECHO: large plastic and paper bags, plastic bottles, peanut butter and jelly
Thank you to those who stepped Jean for leading the as callers and
our August meeting.
September brings the Sigma State Fall Workshopon
September 22-23. The information on the Workshop is in your latest Newsletter. The challenge this year is to grow our membership. September is a good time to bring perspective members.
Check the yearbook to be sure that your information for our Chapter is correct.
How to Access DKG Web Page:
To access your profile and other information on the DKG web page, (www.dkg.org). Sign in using your member ID number, (found on your membership card), and your password. You will be able to opt out of a snail mail newsletter and receive your newsletter through your e-mail. That's good for our organization and the environment! If you need your password reset in order for you to access it, contact Barb.
Take a moment to check out our website and Facebook page. There are just a few state chapters that even have these and they are filled with lots of information. http: deltakappagamma-alphaiota.weebly.com www.facebook.com/deltakappagammaalphaiota
Our thoughts and prayers are with those who are going through personal or family difficulties at this time. Please let us know how we can help!
Bev is having knee replacement surgery on May 1.
.Keep her in your thoughts and prayers
Keep all members in your thoughts and prayers. Little things mean a lot. Keep in touch with a call or a card to members you haven’t seen or talked to in a while.
Let Bev, Linda H., Joan, or Pat know of members in need.
Thank you, Robin, for your continued support of our Chapter and collecting goods for ECHO.ASP Obj. 3.3 A

Remember to ask those women who you think might be interested in joining Alpha Iota. Don't just say they are too busy. Let them decide.
